Updates

On July 1, 2020, the Department of Cannabis Regulation ("DCR") sent a communication entitled, "Phase 1 and Phase 2 Temporary Approval Fee Deadline Extension," which informed all Licensees with 2019 Temporary Approval(s) and outstanding renewal fees that they were required to renew their Temporary Approval(s) for 2020, and pay the required fee(s), by no later than July 17, 2020.

On August 17, 2020, the DCR sent a communication entitled, "Temporary Approval Will Expire Without Further Action - LAMC sec. 104.12(a)" which informed all Licensees with outstanding renewal fees that they were required to pay the required renewal fee(s), by no later than August 21, 2020 and Temporary Approval would immediately expire after that date.

DCR's records reflect that the Temporary Approval(s) was not timely renewed for: LA-C-18-000XXX-APP

Your Temporary Approval has therefore expired and you must immediately cease all Commercial Cannabis Activity (Los Angeles Municipal Code sec. 104.12(a).) This matter is final and not reviewable by an administrative appeal.

Please be advised that any and all persons who have allowed their Temporary Approval(s) to expire and who continue to engage in Commercial Cannabis Activity are subject to an enforcement action and/or criminal penalties for unlicensed Commercial Cannabis Activity. (Los Angeles Municipal Code sec. 104.15.)

Kind regards,

DCR Licensing Team
