Balboa Bud, located in Granada Hills is a Latino Family owned and operated Dispensary. Social Equity applicant Jesus Escandon has been living in South Central for over 30 years and Gus Valdivia, who manages the store, was born and lives in Northridge. Balboa Bud opened in Mid October 2023 and has struggled to break even; we don’t have the capital to advertise like the big corporations in addition are very hard to compete against the illicit market. Our Goal is to stay competitive with low prices while maintaining the high quality and strains that our patients deserve, we strongly believe that we are on the right path to make this social equity Dispensary a success.
